Our Creative Thought Matters philosophy brings together all types of people. One thing
they share: an ability to bring creative thought to life in their own passions and
pursuits. Some bring it with them, some discover it while they’re here. Either way,
a community that values creative ideas means you get to decide who you want to be—then
go for it.
ATHLETICS
With 19 varsity teams competing regionally and nationally, the Skidmore Thoroughbreds
athletic program offers some of the nation’s top sports opportunities. And with eight
national and 83 conference championships, the whole campus takes pride in the success
of our T’breds student-athletes.
Clubs
Stompin’ Soles, Benef-Action, Skwizards, Frenchips, Skid Eats and more: There are
over 100 student-run clubs and organizations at Skidmore. Chances are something is
already waiting for you. If not, find your niche and start your own.

BEATLEMORE SKIDMANIA
Come together
It all began in 2001, when students in a Beatles seminar wanted to play a few songs with their friends. Now Beatlemore Skidmania is one of the biggest social and artistic phenomena at Skidmore. The two-day feel-good performance is so popular it fills the biggest concert hall on campus for three sold-out shows and is live-streamed for alumni and fans around the world.
