Student Clubs
Get involved.
Skidmore students are creative and involved, in and out of the classroom. Whether it's rehearsing a routine for the Stompin' Soles, raising funds for local and national charities, DJing at WSPN or hosting an intercollegiate Quidditch match, Skidmore students are constantly utilizing their creativity and skills to build their collective future.
With nearly 130 student clubs and 19 varsity sports, plus numerous volunteer and internship opportunities here in Saratoga Springs, you'll truly find your niche at Skidmore.
If you have any questions about current clubs, please contact their respective officer(s). If you would like information about starting a club, please contact the VP for Club Affairs.

Athletics & Outdoor Clubs
Nordic skiing is a club open to people who have never been on skis, skied once in middle school PE class, and high school Nordic state meet champions. We provide free rentals to anyone who needs them and are happy to help you learn how to ski if it is your first time. In the fall we do dryland training and lifting, and in the spring we practice on skis a couple times a week and race on the weekends (which is totally optionally!) We’d love to have you join us!

Through Skidmore's chapter of Vox, students organize events on campus to raise public awareness about reproductive health and rights, educate young people at concerts about sexual health, work with and support their local Planned Parenthood health centers, and mobilize advocates of reproductive rights.
